Vintage Copper Pot Small Saucepan Brass Riveted Handle Tin Lined 7 Inch Bowl
Unmarked
Copper and Brass Saucepan
Vintage Kitchenware, Early to Mid-20th Century
This vintage copper saucepan features a deep, rounded bowl and a long, cast brass handle characteristic of traditional European-style kitchenware. The pot is constructed with a solid copper body and an interior tin lining, a method historically used to prevent chemical reactions between the copper and acidic foods. The handle is securely attached with three large rivets and features a decorative scalloped attachment plate.
• Solid copper construction with rolled rim for added strength
• Cast brass handle with three-point riveted attachment and hanging hole
• Interior tin lining showing characteristic darkening and wear from age
• Dimensions: Bowl is approximately 7" in diameter; total length is 12.5" including handle
Condition: Fair to good vintage condition with an established patina. The interior tin lining is significantly worn and darkened, revealing the copper beneath in several areas; it would require re-tinning for modern food use. The copper exterior shows surface scratches, oxidation, and small dings consistent with decades of kitchen service. The brass handle remains firmly attached with no structural movement or wobble. No holes or cracks are present in the metal.
